Arts & Culture and the 2024 Macedon Ranges Autumn Festival have a fantastic project that we’d like local food trucks and wineries to be involved.

The project is called Live & Local in Community Halls.

In April 2024, every weekend there will be live music playing in a community hall or at the Kyneton Museum.

Live music on every Friday, Saturday night and Sunday afternoons.

The community halls involved in the project are:

  • Baynton Hall,
  • Bolinda Hall,
  • Bullengarook Hall,
  • Lancefield Mechanics Institute,
  • Lauriston Hall,
  • Newham Mechanics Institute,
  • Malmsbury Town Hall,
  • Romsey Mechanics Institute,
  • Tylden Hall
  • and Kyneton Museum.

Expected schedule for one of the nights:

Second Act: 8.30pm-9.30pm

Wineries

Some of the halls have already contacted local wineries.

There might be a couple of spots available.

If interested you will need to have the following:

  • A temporary licence
  • The range of wine to be served
  • The approximate cost per glass
  • All waste is managed by the winery
  • Contact details and website address

Food trucks

Some of the halls have already contacted potential food trucks.

There might be a couple of spots available.

If interested:

  • Registered with Streettrader
  • Self-sufficient – no generators
  • Council has a no plastic policy however all the halls have plates and knives and forks
  • Approximate cost of food supplied
  • Contact details and website address

Both wineries and food trucks at each of the gigs will be marketed as a package to all ticket holders.

Food trucks would be able to advertise to the wider community as well as catering for the hall.

There will be a music trail map made up as part of the festival with all the halls, dates, bands playing, wineries and food trucks.

This expression of interest is open till Monday 2 October until 5pm.
