About the hall

At the foot of Mount Macedon in the Macedon Township is this fabulous community facility available for hire on a casual or regular basis. It is ideally suited for weddings, parties and social events and even funerals. It is also suitable for meetings, dance and exercise classes. There is easy access and special amenities for people with disabilities. There are tables and chairs plus crockery & cutlery for 120 people and the kitchen has good quality commercial standard fittings.

        • To hire a hall all hirers must have $20 million Public Liability Insurance cover. A copy of the certificate of currency must be provided by the hirer. Booking officer can arrange Public Liability Insurance coverage for individuals or non-profit community organisations through Council for a fee subject to Council insurers’ approval.
    • 5. Child safety standards

        • The Victorian Government Child Safe Standards applies to all employees and volunteers of Council and seeks compliance with the Child Safe Standards by contractors, council funded organisations and users of council facilities. Therefore any community group using or leasing a council owned or managed facility such as this hall herewith agrees to comply with the child safe standards.
