“The Sounds of Silent’ will return for a vibrant and entertaining musical and movie event for the whole family. If you missed the October show last year, they recreate the silent movie experience from the 1920s and 30s with improvised performances featuring fun, familiar and popular music in the style of the period to accompany the movie. The General is the classic featured film starring Buster Keaton. The 1926 silent comedy was inspired by the Great Locomotive Chase, which happened in America in 1862. This action adventure comedy was made towards the end of the silent era. Laurel and Hardy shorts will also be part of the program.
